  3. Recital

We know how to put on a Great Show. Apart from being well organized, short and sweet, and fast paced, our goal is to make it very entertaining.

From the darling, unpredictable preschoolers to the hard working, talented advanced dancers, to the bunch of dads “dancing” for comic relief, each group has their moment on stage. Every performance features students of all levels so audiences see an overview of the programs we offer and the accomplishments of our students.

The First Act of the recital is planned around a theme. The backdrop, costumes, music, and choreography are designed to involve the audience in the experience. We have done Spectrum of Color, Around the World, Saga of the Old West, A Cruise to Remember, The Big Apple, In the News, and many more.

For the Second Act, we always do a complete, fully staged story ballet, usually a well-known tale. Students in Ballet I/II and above have the opportunity to learn pantomime, acting, and what it means to be a part of a large scaled theatrical production. We have performed Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Sleeping Beauty, and many more. All this, in the lovely Everett Civic Auditorium, with a total running time of 2 hours. After every June Recital, we hear from scores of people telling us how much they enjoyed the show.
